Ash Flat
The Birchtree Communities, Inc. Ash Flat branch serves 10 members that live in the group home, 4 members that live in our
independent house and 3 members that live in their own apartment close by the group home. The members attend day treatment
at our program center Monday thru Saturday 8am-4pm. We have a couple of members currently attending our local college for
classes and others that are attending classes for their GED’s. Birchtree Communities, Inc. has just purchased a school bldg
that has a full size gym and it will be going to serve our members here at Ash Flat and our Melbourne site. Activities will
increase to offer several other activities such as cooking classes, a beauty salon, exercise rooms for men and women and a
