Malvern Branch gets involved with Habitat for Humanity
We have 8 members in Malvern that have volunteered throughout the past year with Habitat
for Humanity. Our members have worked hard giving back to the community trying to help
others that are in the same situation as themselves. They have cleared away the debris
from a build site, carrying buckets of dirt, brush and wood. They have worked together
cleaning and sweeping a house preparing for sheet rockers to come in and complete that
stage. Our members in Malvern have spent an afternoon of backbreaking work laying sod
in the yard of another families home. Our members that volunteer for Habitat for Humanity
always give 100%. They were recently recognized at the annual Habitat for Humanity award
ceremony. They all felt honored to be invited.
We have 2 members in Malvern that volunteer weekly in the community volunteering for ROSE,
they work in the store in town, putting out merchandise, and unloading trucks when new shipments arrive.
