Birch Tree Communities, Inc. Board of Directors elected officers for the 2023-2024 year at its recent quarterly meeting on Friday, August 4, 2023.

Jack Keathley, retired chief executive officer of the organization, was elected to continue to lead the board as chairman. Keathley has worked in mental health for more than 45 years and was recently honored with a John C. Stockburger Lifetime Achievement Award from the Arkansas Council for Behavioral Health. Keathley joined the board and was elected chairman in July 2022.

Dr. Thomas Butler was elected to serve another term as vice chairman of the board. Butler is a chiropractor and owns Butler Chiropractic Clinic in Harrison, Arkansas where he has practiced for more than 40 years. He began serving on the board in 2007.

Bill Hinson was elected as secretary for another year. Hinson is the President of Chenal Insurance in Little Rock, which began as Bill Hinson, Inc., in 1972. He has been a member of the board for 14 years.

Tyler Blair, Chief Financial Officer of Arkansas Heart Hospital, will continue as chairman of the finance committee. Blair was recently recognized by Arkansas Business as part of the “40 Under 40” list of rising business and political leaders.
