Birch Tree Communities operates 12 branches across the state of Arkansas. Each branch has a program center where rehabilitative day treatment is provided Monday through Friday and is staffed with a director, associate director, therapists, life skills coaches, nurses, program supervisors, dietary staff, and housekeeping.

Included in the 12 branches, Birch Tree Communities has two Level 1 facilities with secure, group living, which include the Hope House and Evergreen branches. The remaining ten branches are Level 2 facilities with supervised, community-based living with supervised group homes, small transitional group homes, and apartments.

Each branch of Birch Tree Communities has its own individual personality and atmosphere. Depending on the location of the branch, some settings are more rural and provide opportunities for more outdoor activities, while others are more urban and closer to the conveniences of city living. The admissions team will take requests for certain branches into consideration as a member is being placed. If preferred locations don’t have available space at the time of admission, the member could move when space becomes available in their preferred location.
